Refurbishment of Greenbank Synagogue, Liverpool

NC Architecture are delighted to have been retained to implement all the Post Planning and Listed Building Consent stages for this incredible project at Greenbank, Liverpool.

The refurbishment of the Grade II* Listed Former Synagogue, is a huge and exciting challenge for the Practice, who together with their clients, look to create a unique branded and secure residential development of 22 apartments.

Paying homage to the architectural integrity of the building whilst ensuring the habitable spaces ‘work’ will be a testament to the qualities of the Architects, the Design Team and Contractors working in harmony, which in effect saves this former Building at Risk for decades to come.

The new five storey enabling building, to create another 30 apartments on adjacent gardens, should ‘hopefully’ prove more straightforward.

Site works due to commence end of this year, with a 15 months Contract period envisaged.  Exciting times ahead!
