We are delighted to have obtained Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent (LBC) for the conversion of Upper Paradise Mill. The mill, which was built around 1860, was operated by Cartwright & Sheldon silk weavers from 1912 until 1981, at which point Upper Paradise Mill was converted to offices. The building is Grade II Listed and is now being converted into 10 apartments, two per floor.
NC Architecture are pleased to confirm their involvement with, amongst others, the following projects:
NC Architecture is delighted to announce the granting of Full Planning Approval by Liverpool City Council, for a Change of Use to convert three vacant commercial buildings, to create 21 self-contained aparthotel units for a large aparthotel operator in Liverpool, with A3 commercial unit at ground floor.
Tunnage Square is a luxury 5-storey aparthotel development along Duke Street, Liverpool. Soon after Planning Permission was granted, we undertook detailed design, which enabled construction to commence in Summer 2016. The development comprises 2 x retail units at ground and 7 x serviced aparthotel units on upper floors. Duke Street has become a prime area for regeneration in recent years and the addition of this aparthotel on an empty piece of land that was formerly a disused square, demonstrates a viable use of land. On completion, the development will offer desirable accommodation set close to local amenities, including a variety of bars and restaurants. The site lies within the Ropewalks regeneration zone in Liverpool City Centre and is within walking distance to Liverpool One Shopping Centre and Liverpool Maritime Docks.
NC Architecture are delighted to have been appointed for the refurbishment of the 50,000sqft former Co-Op building in Penrith Town Centre.
Two new build projects in Bolton and Failsworth, see the Practice move into the multiple occupancy market with a bang!
