Duke Street, Liverpool

Tuesday, June 13, 2017

Our Tunnage Square developer client has retained us for this exciting development to refurbish and convert three existing buildings that are currently vacant and boarded, to crease 21 x self-contained serviced aparthotel units, with A3 commercial units at ground floor. Among the alterations will be roof alterations to form a lightweight zinc-clad extension, which will create a modern contemporary appearance and will complement the existing brick facade. The existing brick facade will be cleaned and repaired / made good where required, to retain its original character. All windows and doors will be re-glazed in double-glazed units within timber or metal frames painted black.

The serviced units will offer luxurious accommodation and the A3 commercial space at ground will be offered to a special restaurant operator, to add to the growing variety of bars and restaurants along Duke Street.

The development is currently at Planning stage and we anticipate Planning Approval to be granted Summer 2017 and construction to commence Autumn 2017.
