66 Chapel Lane, Hale

NC Architecture has secured planning permission for a replacement dwelling in a popular area in Hale Barns. Despite the planning site constraints of being in a Conservation Area, the final design has achieved all of the spatial accommodation the client and his family require, whilst giving due consideration to the character of the surrounding area. The house is a modern interpretation of the ‘Arts and Crafts’ style, with sleek stone bays and steep roof pitches and glazing proportions that form a more contemporary flavour.

The dwelling is two storey above ground with a basement leading to a sunken terrace off the rear garden. Accommodation briefly comprises of: large open plan kitchen / breakfast / dayroom, separate formal lounge, study and dining room. Basement leisure suite with pool, gym, steam room and sauna and cinema room; five bedrooms with en-suite and study on upper levels. Total gross internal floor area 690sqm / 7,400 sqft.
