47 Carrwood

We originally helped the clients develop a 10,000 sqft home at Ringley Park, but 13 years later they wanted to downsize to a 7,500 sqft property.

Sat on the crest of Carrwood right in the heart of the South Hale Conservation Area, with the family having grown up and left home, the accommodation was now for parents offering guest suites for visiting children and grandchildren.

The house was designed around the master suite, encompassing two thirds of the first floor, massive en suite, dressing for his and hers, a separate TV lounge and private balcony off the bedroom offered the height of opulence and indulgence; nothing was left to chance, even the client collection of perfume bottles were designed into the inner hallway of the master suite!

Four further beds and baths were created around the first and upper floors, with an open American style dining hallway and incredible wrought iron sweeping staircase rising up through the triple height gallery, mimicking that which existed in their former home. With the completion of this home, the client relationship with Neil Collins had reach its 17th year.
